The Darke County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies and medics responded to the scene at the intersection of Horatio Harris Creek and Horatio New Harrison Roads in Gettysburg around 7:09 pm.

According to investigators, a northbound 2005 Blue Buick Lacrosse failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a westbound 2017 Jeep Compass. The impact caused the Jeep to overturn onto its side. Thankfully, bystanders were able to right the vehicle, and all occupants managed to escape without needing assistance.

A passenger in the Buick sustained minor injuries and was transported to Wayne Healthcare by medics. The driver of the Buick received a citation for failing to yield the right of way.
