2024 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid up by $1735 for new looks and tech
Hyundai has released updated pricing for the 2024 Elantra, specifically focusing on the Elantra N Line and Elantra Hybrid, even though the latter has not yet appeared on the retail site. The non-hybrid Elantra, available in SE, SEL, and Limited trims, saw a price increase from last November, with further bumps expected. The destination charge has also risen from $1,115 to $1,150 since November. Here are the latest MSRPs (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices) for the non-hybrid Elantra, factoring in the increased prices and destination charges:
– SE: $22,775 (+$185)
– SEL: $24,725 (+$185)
– Limited: $28,215 (+$185)
– N Line: $29,615 (+$1,000 over the 2023 model)

The Elantra Hybrid MSRPs, including destination charges and changes from the 2023 model, are as follows:
– Blue: $27,400 (+$1,735)
– Limited: $30,600 (+$335)

The Elantra N trim for 2024 does not yet have a specified purchase price. The Elantra N Line, priced at $29,615, features updated aesthetics, including a thinner grille, forward-leaning headlights, reshaped front fenders, and a flat stainless steel logo. The rear bumper has also been revised, accompanied by new gloss black trim, wheel designs, exterior colors, and interior color changes. The basic trim includes a revamped 4.2-inch screen in the instrument cluster, while trims above SEL and both Hybrid trims come with a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen. Notably, the larger screen requires a wired connection for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reverting from the previous wireless capability. Standard features across all trims include haptic feedback for lane-keep assist, blind spot collision warning, and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance.

New exterior colors include Ecotronic Gray, Ultimate Red, and Amazon Gray. The N Line stands out by offering Exotic Green exclusively. Despite the nearly $5,000 price difference between the non-hybrid Elantra SE and the Elantra Hybrid Blue, it’s essential to consider that the Hybrid comes with features not available as options on the SE, such as the larger touchscreen. The SEL is priced $2,675 less than the Blue, while the non-hybrid Limited is $2,385 less than the Hybrid Limited. In terms of fuel efficiency, the SEL and Limited achieve 31 mpg in the city, 40 mpg on the highway, and 34 mpg combined, whereas the Hybrid delivers 49 mpg city, 52 mpg highway, and 50 mpg combined.
