Aviron Bayonnais French Rugby Carpet Rug

The Aviron Bayonnais French rugby team has a new home carpet rug for their training ground! The new design, which was created by local artist Pierre-Yves Riveau, is based on the traditional Basque beret. The new design is a departure from the team’s previous carpets, which were more abstract. The beret is a traditional Basque symbol and is also the logo of the team. The new design will be used on the training ground and in the club house.

Pros and Cons of Carpet Rugs

When it comes to choosing a new floor covering for your home, there are many things to consider. One option that has been gaining in popularity lately is the carpet rug. Carpet rugs offer many benefits, but there are also some drawbacks to keep in mind. Here is a closer look at the pros and cons of carpet rugs:

PROS:

-Carpet rugs are very comfortable underfoot. They are also warm and inviting, making them great for living areas and bedrooms.

-Carpet rugs can help to dampen noise, making your home more peaceful and quiet.

-They are available in a wide range of colors, patterns, and textures, so you can easily find one to match your décor.

CONS:

-Carpet rugs can be difficult to clean if they get dirt or stains on them. You may need to hire a professional cleaner to keep them looking their best.

-They can also be expensive, depending on the type of rug you choose.

How to Clean a Carpet Rug

Assuming you’re talking about a traditional rug made of woven fabrics, the first step is to vacuum it thoroughly. Pay special attention to the fringe and any areas that tend to collect dust, like in front of doorways. Once it’s been vacuumed, check the care label for specific cleaning instructions.

If the rug is made of wool or another natural fiber, you’ll need to take extra care when cleaning it. Avoid using harsh chemicals or detergents, as these can damage the fibers. Instead, use a mild soap or carpet cleaner designed for natural fibers. Apply the cleaner according to the manufacturer’s instructions, then rinse with clean water.

If the rug is machine-washable, follow the care instructions on the label. Be sure to use a gentle cycle and cool water, as hot water can shrink some fabric fibers. After washing, hang the rug up to dry or lay it flat on a towel until it’s completely dry.

If your rug is stained, there are several ways to treat different types of stains. For coffee or tea stains, mix equal parts vinegar and water and apply it to the stain with a cloth. Let it sit for a few minutes before blotting with a clean cloth dipped in plain water. For more difficult stains, you may need to call in a professional carpet cleaner.
