How did Brentford Fc win the Premier League?Brentford Fc Premier League Champions Christmas Ugly Sweater

Brentford Fc became Premier League Champions for the first time in their history on Sunday after a 3-1 victory over rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Bees had to come from behind to claim the title, with goals from Scott Hogan, Tyrone Mings and Scott Arfield giving them a comfortable advantage going into the final weeks of the season.

Manager Dean Smith made three changes to his starting XI, with Mings coming in for Kasey Palmer, Hogan replacing Andre Gray and Arfield playing in place of Alan Judge.

It was an eventful opening 10 minutes as both teams looked to create chances. Brentford went close through Tom Adeyemi but he couldn’t find the net after good work by Hogan down the right wing.

Chelsea were next to threaten though, as N’Golo Kante managed to get on the end of a Moses cross but his header was well saved by Smith. The ball fell kindly for striker Diego Costa but goalkeeper Artur Boruc came out quickly and pushed him away from goal.

Brentford hit back straight away though, as Hogan’s corner was met by Mings who headed past Thibaut Courtois for his 14th goal of the season. It looked like it would be all square at half-time but Chelsea hit back soon after the restart. A scramble in midfield saw Oscar tap into an empty net following some great work by Eden Hazard and Willian.
