Designing a D Printed Shirt
In this tutorial, we will be exploring how to design a D printed shirt using the Carolina Panthers as an example. We will be using the software Rhinoceros 3D to model our design.
The first thing we need to do is find an image of the Carolina Panthers logo. Once we have found an image, we need to import it into Rhinoceros 3D. To do this, go to File > Import > select your image file > click Open. Your image should now be imported into Rhinoceros 3D as a 2D object.
Now that our image is imported, we need to scale it so that it is the correct size for our shirt. To do this, go to Edit > Scale 2D > select your image > enter the desired width and height > click OK. Your image should now be scaled correctly.
Next, we need to create a 3D model of a shirt. To do this, go to File > New Model > select Shirt from the list of options > click OK. A new blank shirt model should now appear in Rhinoceros 3D.
Now that we have our blank shirt model, we need to insert our Carolina Panthers logo onto it. To do this, go to Insert > Clip Art > select your image file > click Open. Your logo should now be inserted onto the shirt model.
