About the band Kiss
Kiss is an American rock band formed in New York City in 1973. The band members are Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Carr, and Ace Frehley. Kiss is known for their stage show which includes pyrotechnics, blood spitting, and fire breathing. They have been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times.
Kiss was founded by Stanley and Simmons in early 1973. They were later joined by Carr and Frehley. The band became popular in the 1970s with their albums Destroyer (1976) and Love Gun (1977). They toured extensively throughout the decade. In 1983, the band released Lick It Up, which was their first album without make-up. In the 1990s, Kiss released several albums including Revenge (1992) and Psycho Circus (1998).
Kiss has sold over 100 million records worldwide. They were inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2002.

Frehley left the band in 1982 and was replaced by Vinnie Vincent. Vincent was fired in 1984 and was replaced by Mark St. John. Bruce Kulick became the band’s lead guitarist in 1984 and remained until 1996 when he was replaced by Tommy Thayer.
The current lineup of the band is Stanley, Simmons, Thayer, and drummer Eric Singer.
