The sneaker, which is called the Air Force 1, was designed in partnership with the French club and features a white and red color scheme inspired by the club’s kit. The club’s history

The club was founded on 2 January 1904 as Stade Rennais Football Club. The club played its first official match in 1914 and entered the Ligue 1 competition in 1970. The club’s most successful period came between 1988 and 1995 when it won four Ligue 1 titles and reached the final of the UEFA Champions League in 1993. Since then, however, Stade Rennais has been unable to recapture its former glory and has only finished as high as sixth in Ligue 1 since 2002.

However, despite this lack of success, Stade Rennais is still one of the most popular clubs in France with a large following both domestically and abroad. The team’s fans are known for their passionate support which can often be seen during matches displayed through song and chantings.

Stade Rennais FC is an association football team based in Rennes, Brittany, France. The club was founded in 1909 and currently plays in Ligue 1, the top level of French football. Stade Rennais has played at the top level of French football for a total of 79 seasons and has won the Coupe de France on four occasions (1936, 1938, 1954, 2002). The club also reached the final of the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1962 and the UEFA Cup in 1984. Stade Rennais made its debut in European competition in 1972–73 season, entering the Intertoto Cup. The club’s home ground is the Stade du Rennein.

The team’s kit colours are blue and white striped shirts with blue shorts and white socks. The badge features a rampant lion on a blue background with the word “RENNES” above it.
