Led by seasoned coach Shannon O’Keefe, the Gamecocks battled their way through the tournament. O’Keefe, a three-time national champion (including wins at McKendree in 2017 and 2022), steered her team to a thrilling 4-3 victory over Arkansas State in the best-of-seven championship match.

A Journey to the Top

The road to the championship began with the selections announced on March 27th. Regional matches kicked off in early April, culminating in the national championship held at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan on April 12th and 13th.

Jacksonville State displayed impressive consistency throughout the tournament. They dominated their first two matches, defeating Sam Houston and Arkansas State 2-0 respectively. Though Youngstown State challenged them in the second round, the Gamecocks emerged victorious once more (2-1).
